Dear Valued Customers,

Thank you for supporting Wairarapa Eggs Ltd over the years. It has truly meant the world to us to be part of so many households, cafés, bakeries, and food businesses across the Wairarapa and beyond.

After a great deal of thought, we have made the difficult decision to step away from supplying eggs through traditional wholesale channels, including supermarkets and foodservice. This change has not been made lightly. Our farm, our team, and our family have always believed in doing things properly. That means caring well for our birds, working in a way that is sustainable for our people, and not growing beyond what we can responsibly manage.

As our business has grown and changed, we have reached a point where the best way to protect those values is to operate on a smaller, more focused scale. This shift allows us to keep farming in a way that is healthy for our birds, our staff, and our family, and to continue producing eggs in a way we are proud of.

For customers who would still like to buy our eggs, they will continue to be available through our online shop and at our weekly farmers market stall at the Saturday Farmers Market at Solway Showgrounds.

We know this change will affect many people and businesses who have relied on us, and we are sincerely grateful for the trust and support you have shown us over the years. Being part of your homes, kitchens, cafés, and shops has been one of the great privileges of our work.

Thank you for walking alongside us for so long. We truly appreciate every carton you have bought and every relationship that has been built along the way.
